Building an SEO-Optimised Website That Drives Performance by 478%

About the Campaign

Fourth Wall joined Wildcat in 2022 with no real organic presence and only basic website functionality. Their aim was to improve their online visibility and gain organic leads (ideally commercial and heritage enquiries) through the website. 

In two years, we’ve taken the Fourth Wall website from being a fairly basic, one page website, to a bespoke, multi-page website that performs well organically. Learn more about how we achieved this below.

What We Did

Website Development

Taking inspiration from their original website, we designed and built a new SEO-driven website to showcase their current service offering, whilst accommodating for future business requirements. Using GeneratePress for WordPress, their website features a plethora of service pages, a UX-friendly navigation, instant quote tools, engaging location pages, and a high-traffic blog area.

Creation of New Landing Pages

We created a range of new service pages (25+) to showcase their vast offering across residential, commercial, and specialist heritage real estate. These pages target relevant keywords which have helped take them from 108 ranking keywords to 622 (including 15 top three keywords) in under two years.

Creation of Location Pages

We created location pages for each of Fourth Wall’s office locations in Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, and Birmingham, as well as supporting Google Business Profiles for each of them to help increase their online presence in their local areas. Each location page features instant quote tools, as well as interactive map widgets – implemented by our in-house technical team.

Blog Strategy

Once key service pages were created, we put together a comprehensive blog strategy that jumped on industry trends, coupled with top-of-the-funnel queries with high ranking potential. Our strategy of jumping on the latest industry discussions secured top positions for keywords like ‘cement for repointing’ that didn’t have search volume at the time (but now does!).

Results

Since joining us two years ago, Fourth Wall has experienced:

  • A 475% increase in ranking keywords (108 to 622)
  • A 478% increase in organic traffic (231 to 1336 users per month)
  • A 337% increase in conversions at its peak (8 to 35)
